October (EFN Conference)
Hello Family and Friends, This month has been busy but good. It started with me getting over being sick. I was sick for a month which is very abnormal for me. I am so thankful that is over. While on the mend from illness I went with the team from Sofia who are a part of the Daughters of Bulgaria to a conference in Berlin. This was put together by a network actively working to fight human trafficking in Europe. They are called European Freedom Network (EFN). This group has been building and growing for several years now. This network is a great resource for those who are on the ground working in this fight. I found so many people to gain information from, from the experiences they’ve had and from the people they know. Many of the people I met from other European countries work consistently with women from Bulgaria. Many times I was told “most of the women I work with are from Bulgaria. Why do you think that is?
